The agreement

By using Jolt Code (“Jolt”) you agree to these terms. Jolt is licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. The points below add to that agreement; where they differ, Apple's agreement applies.

Your account

An account is optional. If you create one, keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used them. You can delete your account at any time from the You tab in the app.

Jolt Pro

Jolt Pro is a subscription bought through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple Account, and the subscription renews automatically at the price shown unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You manage or cancel it in your iPhone's Settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.

Your code

The projects you write in Jolt belong to you. If you use cloud save, we store them only so they can be shown to you on your devices. We don't claim any rights over them.

Hardware and safety

Jolt sends code to hardware that you own and wire yourself. The plugins and wiring guides are general guidance, and parts differ between makers, so check your own part's labels and data sheet before powering it. You are responsible for your wiring, your parts and your safety.

Don't switch mains electricity unless you are qualified to. Don't rely on anything built with Jolt for medical, life-safety or security purposes, or anywhere a failure could cause injury or damage.

Fair use

Use Jolt only with boards and networks you own or have permission to use. Don't use it to reach, control or interfere with devices that aren't yours.

No warranty

Jolt is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free or always available, and we aren't liable for damage to hardware, lost work or other losses that come from using it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that can't be limited.

Changes and contact
